I Invited Osinbajo To London To Thank Him – Buhari

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has commended the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for his performance as the acting president during his medical leave in the UK.

The President made this known while addressing a delegation of APC and PDP leaders who paid him a visit at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday. He added that he had asked Professor Osinbajo to come to the UK (prior to his return) to especially thank him for his efforts.

“The efforts by the vice president is commendable. He used his intellect to run all over the place. I was seeing him 24 hours on NTA. I congratulate them and I allowed him to come and see me to thank him personally for what he has done.” The President also lauded the leadership style of the governors of the 36 states saying he was pleased with the work they have done so far to improve the welfare of their various states.
