With this new Linkedin QR CODES Update, Your Profile is now a Digital Business Card!

LinkedIn today is rolling out a new feature that will make it much easier to get contact information from LinkedIn users. Announced via a blog post, the company says that adding support for QR-based business cards makes it much easier to connect with people in the real world. "Today we're introducing LinkedIn QR code so that you have a simple way to quickly find the profile of someone you just met and connect on-the-spot." The next time you're at an industry event and meet someone that you want to keep chatting with, open the LinkedIn app and scan their QR code to connect and stay in touch. Gone are the days of requesting a business card, asking the person to spell their name, or handing over your phone to make sure you found their profile.

Are you over 100? Then you've got a better chance of living even longer!

It’s considered an inescapable fact of life: the older you get, the more likely death becomes. But a new research conucted in Germany disproves of that suggestinh that the chances of dying may level off – at least for those who make it to 105 years old. The latest paper, from Vaupel’s team who argue there is no evidence of a loom

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, on Thursday expressed concern over violent conflicts between farmers and herders in countries across West and Central Africa, particularly the Plateau attacks that claimed the lives of over 86 villagers on Saturday. But the Amnesty International has said by failing to hold murderers to account, the Federal Government is encouraging impunity that is fuelling rising insecurity across the country. The Director Amnesty International Nigeria, Osai Ojigho, stated this in a report released by the international agency on Thursday. AI stated that its independently verified estimated figures indicated that since January 2018 “at least 1,813 people had been murdered in 17 states, which is double the 894 people killed in 2017.” Ojigho stated, “The death tolls reflect killings as a result of farmers-herders conflict, communal clashes, Boko Haram attacks and banditry. “We are gravely concerned about the rising spate of killings across
